Let your creativity lead the way on this immersive acrylic landscape painting retreat in the heart of central Portugal. Set in a peaceful countryside haven, this en plein air experience invites you to slow down, observe deeply, and paint directly from the landscape—guided by nature, short scenic walks, and a supportive, encouraging approach.

Perfect for beginners and intermediate painters, this retreat is ideal if you’re looking to strengthen your foundations, improve your technique, or break free from a creative plateau. Through a freer, more playful way of working with acrylics, you’ll be supported to experiment, take risks, and paint without fear of getting it “wrong.”

Over the weekend, you’ll complete three original small acrylic landscape paintings inspired by the Portuguese scenery while learning and exploring acrylic techniques in an outdoor setting. Our sessions unfold beneath open skies, immersed in the colours, light, and textures of the land.

Between painting sessions, there’s plenty of time to unwind and reflect, with access to a swimming pool, gym, games room, and wellness amenities, plus fresh, nourishing meals prepared on site.
